🔒 What Data We Collect

When you place an order with Amma's Home Foods, we collect the following information solely for order fulfillment purposes:

• Personal Information: Your full name and phone number
• Contact Details: WhatsApp number (if different from phone)
• Delivery Address: House/flat, street, landmark, city, state, and pincode
• Order Details: Products selected, quantities, weight variants, and total amount
• Payment Information: UPI reference numbers (payment itself is handled via external UPI apps)

📋 Why We Collect Your Data

We collect and use your data exclusively for order fulfillment — to prepare your snacks, arrange delivery, send order confirmations via WhatsApp, and provide order tracking. We do not use your data for marketing, advertising, or any purpose beyond delivering your order.

🛡️ Data Protection

Your data is stored securely in a private Google Sheets database accessible only to authorized Amma's Home Foods staff. We implement the following safeguards:

• Data is never sold, shared, or rented to third parties
• Only the business owner and designated helpers have access
• Order data is retained for business records and customer service
• We do not use cookies or tracking pixels for advertising

🗑️ Data Deletion

You have the right to request deletion of your personal data at any time. To request deletion, simply send a message on WhatsApp to +91 94945 42677 with the subject "Data Deletion Request" and your registered phone number. We will process your request and delete your data within 48 hours of receiving the request.

✅ Order Confirmation

Your order is considered confirmed only after full payment is received via UPI. You will receive a confirmation message on WhatsApp with your unique Order ID once payment is verified. Orders placed without payment within the order window may be cancelled.

💳 Payment Terms

Full payment must be made via UPI by the end of the day the order slot closes. You can pay right away using the UPI link/QR shown after you place your order, or we will share payment details (UPI ID/QR) on WhatsApp. Either way, payment is verified by hand before your order is confirmed. We do not accept cash on delivery.

🚫 Cancellation Policy

Orders CANNOT be cancelled once confirmed and paid. Since all products are freshly prepared in limited quantities for each order window, we begin preparation immediately after confirmation. Please review your order carefully before submitting.

• Orders pending payment can be cancelled by not completing payment
• Once payment is received, the order enters production and cannot be cancelled
• No refunds for confirmed orders unless the product is damaged during delivery

🚚 Delivery

We offer two delivery options:

• Within Bangalore City: Rapido delivery — Same day or next day delivery
• Outside Bangalore: Indian Post Courier — 2 to 3 business days

Delivery charges (if any) will be communicated at the time of order confirmation. We are not responsible for delays caused by courier services or weather conditions.

📦 Product Disclaimer

All our products are 100% homemade with natural ingredients and no preservatives. As with any homemade food, slight natural variations in color, texture, and taste between batches are normal and do not affect quality or safety. We do not use artificial colors, palm oil, or chemical preservatives.

📦 Bulk Orders

For orders above Rs. 2,000, a 50% advance payment is required at the time of order placement. This advance is non-refundable once production begins. The remaining 50% must be paid before dispatch.

🍽️ Allergen & Dietary Information

Our kitchen handles nuts, dairy, wheat, and other common allergens. While we take utmost care, cross-contamination cannot be completely ruled out in a home kitchen environment. Please inform us of any allergies in the "Special Instructions" field when placing your order.
